Class Introduction

Digital transformation has the potential to change how citizens live, how they eat, work, travel and engage with government services. In many countries, citizens still need to fill out forms to access basic government services like waste collection, passports or benefits.

 

Kate Sutton will run a masterclass on digital transformation in public services across Asia Pacific. This practical class will take participants through the theory and practice of digital transformation with a specific focus on public services and also UNDPs approach to digital transformation.

 

It will also cover some examples of where artificial intelligence in government services and the potential and pitfalls of this technology in delivering better public services
